What is BadumnaSim

BadumnaSim is a plugin that provides OpenSim users the ability to utilise Badumna. Badumna is a network engine designed specifically for massively multiplayer online applications that uses peer-to-peer networking protocols. BadumnaSim acts as a proxy between the OpenSim client and the region server. It diverts all relevant network traffic to the Badumna network and the rest to the region server. By doing that, it significantly reduces the load on the region server thereby allowing it to support many more avatars in the region. Please note that all the users connected to a grid must have BadumnaSim installed and configured on their machines.

Current version supports Windows operating system. Mac OS version is coming soon.
